Job Duties:
- Review potential new clients by analysing business take-on forms, due diligence profiles, risk assessments, and identification documents.
- Process and analyse compliance-related forms to ensure adherence to internal standards.
- Maintain compliance files, registers, monitoring spreadsheets, and databases.
- Attend internal and relevant external meetings as required.
- Prepare compliance-related management information and reports for review.
- Identify opportunities for improving internal procedures and support their implementation.
- Assist employees with queries on regulatory, AML/CFT/CPF, and compliance matters.
- Provide back-up support to the Compliance team during periods of absence.
- Promote a compliance culture across the organisation.
- Support and participate in various compliance-related projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant professional compliance qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within Trust, Funds, or Company services.
- Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and client due diligence requirements.
- Intermediate to advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM software, and internet search engines.
- Methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible in approach to work.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with team members and stakeholders.
