This is a fantastic new full-time permanent opportunity for a candidate who is training towards a professional qualification. You will assist with general accounting duties in the finance department, perform general office administration including scanning, filing, photocopying and dealing with post. This role also involves the reconciliation of purchase and sales ledgers and bank accounts, the preparation of VAT returns and financial statements and the processing of financial transactions through Sage and other accounting systems. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have a positive “can do” approach with the ability to develop new ideas.
