Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their internal accounts team, on a permanent full-time basis, to assist with queries from colleagues, clients, external organisations and auditors. Duties include general sales and purchase bookkeeping, depreciation, bank reconciliations, bank payments, receipts and petty cash control. You will also assist with the production of accounts to trial balance and assist with the annual audit. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be working towards a relevant accounting qualification and have experience of Microsoft Office including Excel. Experience of Viewpoint would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given.
