Our client is seeking an Assistant Director to join their Risk and Operations team, on a permanent full-time basis, to assist the Director and Deputy Director in respect of the operation of the division. You will assess the procedures and systems utilised within the business and oversee the activities of the functional team, including the allocation of work to the relevant team’s staff. You will also support staff and contribute to their development by assessing staff training needs, providing training as required and general staff management, including undertaking staff appraisals and providing constructive feedback and recognition. The successful candidate will have a high level of technical understanding of the PRISM system and the ability to discuss needs and requirements with in-house IT and IT suppliers and have a clear understanding of Risk Based Supervision (‘RBS’) and how to use PRISM effectively.
