Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team in Port St Mary, on a permanent full-time basis, to assist the Financial Controller in managing the varied day to day accounts administration as well as supporting the wider business. Duties will include seeking approval and processing of supplier invoices, processing cash receipts, bank reconciliations, allocating and posting transactions as well as assisting with maintaining nominal accounts. The successful candidate will have an understanding of accounts payable/accounts receivable principles, data entry skills and a knack for numbers along with good attention to detail. Understanding of basic bookkeeping, knowledge of xero and accounting software packages is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given.
