Our client is seeking a Tax Supervisor or Assistant Manager, depending on experience, to join their team. This is a full-time role focused on UK and Isle of Man (IOM) tax compliance for individuals, trusts, and companies. Job Duties:
- Prepare UK and IOM tax returns accurately and ensure submission by the statutory filing dates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and current practices.
- Manage workflow and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Oversee daily issues related to tax compliance and consultancy services.
- Deliver accurately completed, detailed technical work in line with current legislation.
Job Requirements:
- An understanding of the Isle of Man Tax Regime is essential.
- Ability to assimilate and apply technical tax knowledge effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a structured approach to work.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in completing UK and IOM tax computations for trust companies and individuals is essential.
- A working knowledge of UK tax is desirable.
- Part-qualified or working towards ATT, CTA, or a similar relevant qualification.
- Qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Background in working with offshore tax structures is necessary.
