Asset Services Administrator

Our client is seeking a hardworking individual to join their Asset Services team. The primary responsibility of the Asset Services Administrator is to manage various tasks within the Asset Services team, as directed by the Asset Services Manager and Team Leader. The role involves processing dividends, monitoring corporate actions, ensuring accurate pricing, and handling asset reviews and transfers. Job Duties:

  • Process all equity and unit trust dividends within agreed timeframes
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with unit positions or cash/reinvest received
  • Address client queries related to dividends and corporate actions
  • Monitor and interpret corporate action data for onward dispatch
  • Maintain a corporate action diary and liaise with Fund Managers and Custodians
  • Check the accuracy of uploaded daily prices and input prices for manually priced securities
  • Calculate and input prices for monthly unitised funds
  • Review new assets in line with criteria and update settlement instructions
  • Set up new securities according to procedures within agreed timeframes
  • Transfer assets in and out of accounts, liaising with external contacts to ensure successful transfers
  • Monitor receipt of statements and trail commission payments from Fund Managers
  • Negotiate trail commission terms with Fund Managers
