Senior Administrator, Payments Team

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Payments Team based in the Isle of Man. This full-time role involves supporting the Claims Supervisor in managing the operations of the Policy Servicing Department, ensuring that all client and IFA requests are processed efficiently and within specified service times. Job Duties:

  • Assist the Claims Supervisor with daily operations of the Policy Servicing Department.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients via telephone, fax, and email.
  • Identify problem areas and propose solutions to improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory legislation and adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for junior team members, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Prioritise work to meet deadlines and maintain high administrative accuracy.
  • Assist in monitoring workloads and maintaining departmental procedure notes.
  • Check the work of other team members and ensure consistency in quality.
  • Handle complaints and VODs, following the correct procedures for resolution.
  • Collaborate with technical areas on complex issues and update process notes accordingly.
  • Provide cross-training and flexibility in assisting other customer service teams when required.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Financial Services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in drafting basic letters and faxes.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing administration role.
  • Good understanding of AML/KYC requirements.
  • 2 years' experience within a Life Assurance company.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy while meeting agreed service standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
