Our client is seeking a Fund Administrator to join their dynamic Fund Administration team, specialising in venture capital. The successful candidate will carry out routine day-to-day administration for a portfolio of clients under the direction of a manager. Click here to read more.
Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of clients, including venture capital funds, management companies, and associated fund vehicles, while liaising with clients and third parties
- Process all aspects of the fund’s operations, including simple investment transactions, inputting payments, preparing receipt packs, and processing investor changes
- Maintain accurate investor and fund records in relevant systems
- Assist with company secretarial matters, including the preparation of minutes, board packs, and reports
- Support regulatory and statutory filings
- Assist with the induction and training of trainee staff
- Attend to other ad-hoc client requests and project work as required by the team
Job Requirements:
- Expected to be studying towards a recognised professional qualification such as CGI (ICSA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience in fund administration or related fields
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to develop solid working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
- Strong computer literacy and problem-solving abilities
- Practical experience in, or demonstrable knowledge of, the financial services industry
- A basic understanding and ability to interpret fund documentation
