Associate Director, Corporate

Our client is seeking an Associate Director to join the Corporate Division in Jersey. The role involves playing a key part in the senior management team, focusing on the development, growth, and operational excellence of the Corporate Services team. You will manage the administration team, ensuring the control framework, policies, procedures, and risk management are in place to maintain legal and regulatory compliance. Job Duties: 

  • Oversee the management of the Jersey Corporate Division’s administration team alongside senior management.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Corporate and Client Service Director to implement a best-in-class client service and operational strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships with business lines, peers, and colleagues to support the wider business plan.
  • Lead larger client relationships, ensuring their needs are met with strong governance and timely execution.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and operational excellence within the team.
  • Assist with developing a cross-jurisdiction operating model for corporate services.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, offering career development support and regular feedback.
  • Manage time charging, billing, and fee collection within set timeframes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Senior Management Regime as per the JFSC notice.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.


Job Requirements: 

  • Experience at a senior leadership level within a Corporate Services environment.
  • Relevant professional qualification recognised by the JFSC (e.g. STEP/ICSA Diploma/CGI).
  • Strong knowledge of Jersey risk and compliance regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A solution-driven attitude and the ability to work independently within corporate policies.
