Mortgage Advisor

Our client is seeking a Mortgage Adviser to join their team. This role, reporting to the Mortgage Manager, requires someone with mortgage experience, ideally holding a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice or equivalent. You will work closely with clients, providing advice on a range of mortgage products as well as associated insurance products, offering a high level of customer service both face-to-face and over the phone. Job Duties:

• Provide mortgage advice to clients face-to-face, via email, and over the phone
• Process and submit mortgage and insurance applications
• Advise clients on life assurance, critical illness cover, and health protection products
• Collaborate with other team members and contribute to team discussions on business development, company updates, and processes
• Deliver exceptional customer service in all client communications
• Utilise systems such as Word, Excel, Access, and online quoting tools

Job Requirements:

• Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice qualification or equivalent desirable
• Proven experience in a mortgage or financial services environment
• Strong understanding of AML and GDPR requirements
• Excellent customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Strong organisational and IT skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access
• Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
