Fund Accountants / Controllers x 2

Our client is seeking two qualified Accountants to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves ensuring fund financial reports are accurate and comply with policies, accounting principles, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will focus on fund accounting, investor reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, audit coordination, and liquidity management. Working with modern IT infrastructure, the role leverages tools like Investran Live and Power BI to optimise processes. Job Duties:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records, fund registers, and reconcile bank and working capital transactions.
  • Prepare and review complex bookkeeping, capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, cash flow schedules, and investor account statements.
  • Respond to investor queries and review ILPA fee templates.
  • Assist with regulatory and tax reporting, providing data to external advisors and meeting compliance requirements.
  • Support audit processes by liaising with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Manage liquidity and trades, including bridge facility schedules, interest calculations, and payment instructions.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year post-qualification accounting experience.
  • Relevant qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Experience with closed-ended private equity funds and general ledger systems, such as Investran, is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, with excellent computer skills.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organisational skills, and a process-oriented approach.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
