Our client, a well-established provider of financial and fiduciary services, is seeking a Risk Reviewer to join their team on a permanent. This role focuses on undertaking the periodic review process for the trust department. This full-time position requires working from 09:00 to 17:00 with a one-hour lunch break. Job Duties:
- Reviewing all client files and management information systems to maintain alignment with agreed standards.
- Risk rating clients and conducting appropriate screening to comply with legislative requirements and identify risk factors.
- Monitoring client business to ensure adherence to policies, Guernsey laws, and international regulations where applicable.
- Reviewing customer due diligence (CDD) to ensure completeness and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Identifying and managing potential risks or breaches appropriately.
- Conducting risk-focused thematic and deep-dive compliance monitoring reviews across fiduciary and investment business areas.
- Assisting with ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of two years’ experience, with solid knowledge of trust and company law, fiduciary principles, and regulatory requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
- Awareness of industry best practices and developments in other jurisdictions.
- Ideally holds or is studying towards a relevant trust qualification.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work accurately, independently, and collaboratively within time-sensitive environments.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical thinking and risk awareness.
- Strong computer skills and a good team player.
