Senior Administrator, New Business Team

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their New Business Team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role reports into the Manager of the New Business Team and focuses primarily on the efficient on-boarding and formation of structures for new and existing private clients. Job Duties: 

  • Work within the regulatory framework set by JFSC and other relevant jurisdictions to ensure governance oversight and compliance protocols are followed during the formation of new business structures.
  • Maintain a high level of technical competence and market awareness to ensure client satisfaction during the on-boarding process.
  • Provide first-class administrative support to the New Business Team and liaise with Sales and Service teams.
  • Prepare internal approval documentation and present directly to the Business Acceptance Meeting.
  • Ensure that on-boarding files and approval documentation are clear and consistent, optimising senior management resources.
  • Oversee the implementation of structures and maintain up-to-date and orderly databases for transition to the administration team.
  • Actively contribute to the achievement of “New Business” targets.
  • Liaise regularly with Directors and the Global Business Development team.
  • Seek advice when encountering difficult issues or problems.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members when necessary.
  • Manage strict deadlines effectively and adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
  • Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in line with regulatory requirements and AML/CFT legislation.
  • Follow the business core values and expected behaviours at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by Management.


Job Requirements: 

  • Excellent understanding of trustee and company risks and responsibilities.
  • Solid knowledge of AML/TF risks associated with the on-boarding of new clients.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, relationship management, and both contractual and statutory obligations.
  • Familiarity with various jurisdictional requirements.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively using initiative.
  • Proven experience in managing a team.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client service.
