Job Duties:
- Lead UI and API testing efforts for the Core Team.
- Translate business and product requirements into clear, detailed test scripts and scenarios.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for features at both the UI and API levels.
- Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure all deliverables align with functional requirements and design specifications.
- Maintain and update test documentation for accuracy and relevance.
- Identify opportunities for improving test efficiency, processes, and tools.
- Advocate for a quality-driven culture within development and cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in manual QA/testing roles.
- Hands-on experience testing web applications at both UI and API levels.
- Proficiency in testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Strong background in functional and non-functional testing.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with the financial sector and payment systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in defect analysis and resolution.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills in English.
