Account Manager

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join their Sales Team, supporting the Europe region and the Europe Sales Manager. This exciting role involves fostering strong relationships with distributors, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring the organisation remains the "go-to" product provider within the industry. The role provides a primary point of contact for brokers and the sales team, offering technical support, operational guidance, and general relationship management. Job Duties:

  • Provide support and assistance to the sales force and brokers on processes and operational procedures.
  • Conduct training, meetings, and presentations via Zoom/Teams as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and sales teams, identifying their needs and how best to meet them.
  • Prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively.
  • Manage broker and staff relationships promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure queries are addressed in a timely manner, either personally or by liaising with other departments.
  • Solve problems effectively and communicate clearly with relevant parties.
  • Regularly review pipeline reports and implement improvements to streamline clean new business applications.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with organisational values and culture.
  • Compile and analyse sales reports for managers.
  • Host brokers during office visits and trips to the island.

 

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an insurance or financial services role.
  • Beneficial but not required: knowledge of the Insurance (Anti-Money Laundering) Regulations 2008 and Customer Due Diligence requirements as per Isle of Man Financial Services Authority AML/CFT guidance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing workloads under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong oral, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient listening and questioning skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage customer and staff relationships, ensuring queries are addressed promptly and expectations are met.
