Office Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated Office Manager to oversee the smooth running of office operations. This full-time, office-based role involves managing IT infrastructure, coordinating premises-related matters, and taking responsibility for company insurances. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation by handling essential tasks, ensuring staff queries are addressed efficiently, and leading the office relocation project scheduled for December 2026. 

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage all IT infrastructure for the office, liaising with the IT service provider to address issues and coordinate IT projects.
  • Oversee premises-related matters, including liaising with the landlord, managing car parks, and handling office supplies, furniture, and cleaning services.
  • Coordinate office phone systems, desk moves, mobile phones, and internet connection issues.
  • Lead the office relocation project, starting with identifying suitable premises by mid-2025 and managing all aspects of the move, including vetting, reviewing, and organising the new space.
  • Administer company insurances, including physical office insurance, Directors and Officers insurance, health insurance, death in service insurance, and keyman insurance.
  • Manage staff insurance processes, including onboarding and offboarding employees and assisting new joiners with paperwork.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for staff queries related to IT, premises, and insurances.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office management, IT coordination, and premises oversight.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, particularly for handling office moves.
  • Knowledge of company insurance processes, including health, life, and property insurance.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with external providers and stakeholders, including landlords and IT service providers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act as the go-to person for staff queries.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to managing multiple responsibilities.
