Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Sustainability Analyst to support the development and success of their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework. This exciting role will involve designing and shaping ESG strategy, delivering tangible progress, and ensuring compliance with evolving ESG regulations. The successful candidate will coordinate analysis, reporting, regulatory returns, and stakeholder engagement while collaborating across the organisation and with external partners.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and deliver annual and quarterly ESG data reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Organise and attend volunteering events with partner charities as part of staff volunteering initiatives.
- Communicate ESG initiatives and updates through internal channels to engage employees.
- Review and ensure ESG reporting aligns with regulatory requirements.
- Lead monthly ESG Committee meetings and coordinate agendas.
- Manage and improve the carbon footprint data collection process, enhancing data quality.
- Collaborate with international teams to accommodate regional variations in ESG strategies.
- Maintain and strengthen community engagement by liaising with charities to support their missions.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sustainability or ESG roles.
- Familiarity with ESG regulations, data collection, reporting frameworks, and platforms.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present information effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- A degree in Environmental Science or a related field is advantageous.
- Certification from CFA Institute or GARP Sustainability, or equivalent qualifications, is desirable.
