Our client is looking for a Payroll Manager to act as the financial custodian of the company’s payroll accounting and reporting function. This role is key to establishing a high-performing finance function that balances financial integrity, compliance, and operational excellence. The Payroll Manager will work closely with the People team and various stakeholders to support the company’s strategic and commercial objectives, with a focus on payroll reporting, transformation initiatives, and process improvements.
Job Duties:
- Develop a payroll reporting suite to support FP&A in providing strategic financial insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Create and develop a scalable reporting model compliant with relevant reporting standards.
- Manage relationships with the People team, FP&A, and Accounting to ensure completeness and accuracy of payroll reporting.
- Champion payroll accounting and reporting transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation, process automation, and system integration.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance Systems, and Accounting to ensure controls deliver accurate and timely payroll data.
- Oversee global payroll processes, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll management across all jurisdictions.
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of finance-related payroll operations.
- Ensure strong financial controls are in place, maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Manage payroll reporting for the jurisdictions in which the company operates.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with more than 5 years PQE outside of audit, preferably in the eGaming or financial services industries.
- Significant experience in payroll operations and reporting across multiple jurisdictions is essential.
- Advanced Excel knowledge is essential.
- Knowledge of multi-currency IFRS-led accounting is essential.
- Hands-on knowledge of multiple accounting packages or ERPs, ideally Navision, but experience with other multi-currency packages will suffice.
- Strong written and verbal English language skills are essential.
