Senior Administrator, Private Capital

Our client is seeking a Senior Fund Administrator to join their Private Capital Fund Administration team. The role involves providing fund administration, corporate services, and investor services to private equity funds and related structures, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. You will report directly to the Fund Administration Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service aligned with client SLAs. 

 

Job Duties:

  • Prepare fund distribution and call notices in accordance with fund agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with the Investor Relations team to manage investor queries, maintain databases, and send notices.
  • Prepare and/or review payment instructions for transactions, distributions, and ad hoc payments.
  • Prepare and/or review investor correspondence templates for financial reports and notices.
  • Update and control investor static data, including bank details.
  • Assist in analysing investment proposals to ensure alignment with fund investment criteria.
  • Liaise with compliance and CDD teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain logs for foreign exchange transactions and invoices.
  • Prepare and/or review reporting for bridge facilities.
  • Execute documents and respond to ad hoc administrative client and investor requests.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, clients, and internal teams to manage audits and administration.
  • Assist with board meeting preparation, including agendas, minutes, and board packs.
  • Support the Corporate Services team in maintaining logs and registers.
  • Review and enhance existing business processes and checklists to optimise team efficiency.
  • Contribute to group projects for system implementation and process development.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Interest in studying for a professional qualification such as ICSA, ACCA, or ACA.
  • Proper and effective administration skills with good time management and prioritisation abilities to handle high volumes of time-sensitive tasks.
  • Sound problem-solving skills with good attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of fund structures, cash flows, and the Private Capital industry is desirable.
  • Experience in Private Capital and fund administration.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable motivation to learn new applications and processes, and ability to consistently meet client deadlines.
