Our client is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join their private wealth and corporate services team as an Assistant Trust Officer. Job Duties:
- Assisting with a range of administrative tasks, including preparing payment instructions, verifying details, and monitoring fund receipts.
- Drafting simple correspondence such as emails, letters, and meeting minutes.
- Opening bank accounts and maintaining accurate data on internal systems.
- Managing safe custody items and assisting with statutory and regulatory filings.
- Completing compliance checks for new business and supporting client due diligence processes.
- Assisting with review points, checklists, and new business take-on forms.
- Performing general administrative duties, including scanning, filing, arranging couriers, scheduling meetings, and updating spreadsheets.
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and providing support to colleagues.
- Ensuring daily completion of timesheets.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE level education or equivalent.
- Office or general administrative experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with colleagues, intermediaries, and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal English, including a confident telephone manner.
- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a willingness to learn.
- Interest in understanding financial markets, offshore fiduciary services, and the company’s services, values, and culture.
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and fiduciary services would be beneficial.
