Junior / Client Relationship Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced trust professional or qualified accountant to join their Family Office in Jersey as part of the Relationship Management team. Reporting to the Senior Client Relationship Manager, this role involves building strong relationships with clients, managing their affairs, and collaborating closely with internal teams and third-party professionals. The position offers a varied workload, including client interactions, financial oversight, and supporting the Group’s business development efforts.

 

Job Duties:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and their advisers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and divisions to manage client affairs effectively.
  • Support the organisation’s business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Liaise with third-party professionals, including lawyers, tax specialists, and asset managers.
  • Manage client affairs, including preparing meeting documents, analysing investment performance, and valuing investments.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient execution and accounting of client transactions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of clients’ businesses, family dynamics, and trust structures.
  • Approve payments, manage cash flow, and oversee foreign exchange transactions.
  • Review financial statements, contracts, and loan agreements for client entities.
  • Provide technical assistance on complex documentation, including drafting and reviewing.
  • Identify and manage risks while adhering to internal procedures and best practices.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by management.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent).
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. STEP, ACCA).
  • 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with commercial awareness.
  • Solid administration experience within a high-net-worth environment.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sound understanding of financial markets, investment management, and financial accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to understand and meet client needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
