People Administrator

Our client is seeking a People Administrator to join their team in Guernsey. This vital role supports the Head of People and Culture, People Officer, and Talent Officer in a range of HR-related activities. Responsibilities include managing payroll adjustments, administering employee benefits, maintaining HR data, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and providing administrative support for various HR functions.

 

Job Duties:

  • Process payroll adjustments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrolment, changes, and terminations.
  • Address payroll and benefits queries, providing accurate information.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records within the HR system.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in HR data management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, immigration regulations, and population management requirements.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Stay informed on changes in employment law and regulations to ensure organisational compliance.
  • Produce and administer contracts, letters, and agreements as per the required approval process.
  • Schedule and coordinate HR meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Head of People and Culture.

 

Job Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, immigration regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Understanding of the airline or transportation industry.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
