Our client is seeking a People Administrator to join their team in Guernsey. This vital role supports the Head of People and Culture, People Officer, and Talent Officer in a range of HR-related activities. Responsibilities include managing payroll adjustments, administering employee benefits, maintaining HR data, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and providing administrative support for various HR functions.
Job Duties:
- Process payroll adjustments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrolment, changes, and terminations.
- Address payroll and benefits queries, providing accurate information.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records within the HR system.
- Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and compliance.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in HR data management.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, immigration regulations, and population management requirements.
- Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed on changes in employment law and regulations to ensure organisational compliance.
- Produce and administer contracts, letters, and agreements as per the required approval process.
- Schedule and coordinate HR meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and documentation.
- Perform other duties as instructed by the Head of People and Culture.
Job Requirements:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with employment laws, immigration regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Understanding of the airline or transportation industry.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
