Our client is seeking a Business Manager to support strategic initiatives and operational effectiveness within their global wealth management function. This role is based in Jersey and involves working closely with senior management, client advisors, and internal departments to drive change, manage projects, and enhance business performance.
Job Duties:
- Understand the function’s priorities and strategic goals.
- Lead and implement change initiatives to improve business operations.
- Manage a portfolio of projects, from short-term tasks such as generating reports to long-term strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with client advisors, assistants, desk heads, and other internal teams.
- Enhance operational efficiency by identifying and removing barriers to progress.
- Ensure risk management is integrated into business strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and persuasive presentation skills.
- Quick to adapt to new processes, systems, and tools.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- At least five years' experience in a business management role or a similar function requiring project management and operational oversight.
