Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a six-month contract. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems within defined specifications, costs, and timelines. The successful candidate will assist in the implementation and maintenance of computing infrastructure, applying technical expertise and industry best practices.
Job Duties:
- Provide advanced technical support for complex issues escalated from 1st and 2nd tier support teams.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
- Support the Security team in implementing and managing security measures to protect organisational data and systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT services.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects to enhance infrastructure and support business objectives.
- Coordinate with vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and overall system operations.
Job Requirements:

- Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry best practices.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft environments is preferred.
