Talent Acquisition Officer

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to join their HR team on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for managing all recruitment activity across the Channel Islands and UK offices. You will work closely with hiring managers and the wider HR function to deliver a seamless and effective resourcing process. From sourcing candidates to managing the recruitment system and supporting broader talent initiatives, you will play a key role in attracting top talent and supporting HR operations.

Job Duties:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across the Channel Islands and UK
  • Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and selection criteria
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including agency liaison, candidate shortlisting, and interviews
  • Source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and other online networks
  • Organise and participate in recruitment and careers events to build candidate pipelines
  • Maintain the recruitment module within SuccessFactors, ensuring accurate data management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support the Head of HR and Senior HR Business Partner with resourcing advice and guidance
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of talent programmes
  • Support learning and development initiatives and maintain training records
  • Maintain documentation and records for recruitment and training activities
  • Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines and respond to related audit queries
  • Provide support for HR projects and general HR administration
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
  • Deliver first-day induction training and manage new employee documentation in line with GDPR

Job Requirements:

  • Up to three years’ experience in a talent acquisition or similar HR role
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment and varied interview techniques
  • Proficient in using HR databases or recruitment portals
  • Advanced administrative skills with strong numeracy and literacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • High level of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
