Business Development Executive

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their growing team on a full-time basis. With a strong presence in Jersey’s hospitality sector and an expanding property portfolio, this role focuses on developing and managing corporate relationships to drive business across their hotels and venues. Reporting to the Group Sales & Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and representing the brand within the local business community.

Job Duties:

  • Identify and develop new corporate sales opportunities through proactive outreach
  • Build and manage relationships with corporate clients to secure ongoing business
  • Represent the business at networking events, trade shows and exhibitions
  • Negotiate contracts, respond to RFPs, and manage key enquiries to maximise revenue
  • Collaborate with marketing, reservations and operational teams to align efforts
  • Maintain and update the corporate client database, tracking leads and conversions
  • Monitor competitor activity and contribute insights to refine sales strategy
  • Produce monthly sales reports to track progress and performance

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate sales, business development or account management
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proactive and target-driven approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence in engaging with clients across a range of industries and seniorities
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with the local business landscape and a flair for networking
  • Driving licence preferred
