Our client is seeking a Client Reporting Junior Trust Accountant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis, at either Staff or Executive level. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking to begin or progress their career in trust and company accounting, with full support to study towards the ACCA qualification.
Job Duties:
- Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for trust and company structures
- Perform reconciliations of accounting records to portfolio statements from financial institutions
- Support quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes
- Prepare financial statements for trust and company structures in line with relevant accounting standards or regulatory requirements, under guidance from senior team members
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including advisors, bankers, lawyers, and consultants in close collaboration with Client Services
- Assist with client reporting and investment monitoring improvement projects, including automation and system development initiatives
- Manage and monitor automated data feeds from third-party custodians
- Attend tuition sessions with the training provider as part of ACCA study support
Job Requirements:
- Academic qualifications sufficient to commence ACCA studies – strong A-levels or a relevant degree
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and technical abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels
- Collaborative team player with a client-focused, solution-oriented approach
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting, and/or knowledge of private banking or fiduciary services is desirable
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantage
