Client Director, Executive Compensation Services

Our client is seeking a Client Director to join their Executive Compensation Services team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a senior leadership role based in Jersey, carrying regulatory responsibility as defined by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) under the Senior Management Function (Category 3). You will play a key part in overseeing a portfolio of complex executive compensation structures, managing regulatory responsibilities, driving strategic goals, and leading a high-performing team. Hybrid working is available.

Job Duties:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of client relationships, offering high-level governance and strategic direction
  • Act as a director or alternate director of client companies and participate in board meetings where required
  • Ensure robust compliance with applicable anti-money laundering legislation and Codes of Practice
  • Oversee financial performance and drive profitability within the Executive Compensation Services team
  • Review and enhance internal processes to maintain and improve service delivery
  • Build and maintain key client relationships, identifying cross-selling and business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the leadership of the Executive Compensation Services function and support growth strategies
  • Guide and support team members, providing mentoring, feedback, and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Monitor operational delivery against agreed service standards and regulatory obligations
  • Represent the business externally where required and support the implementation of key projects

Job Requirements:

  • Table 4 qualification and eligible for regulatory approval as a JFSC Category A employee
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the share plan industry, including complex corporate transactions for listed and private companies
  • Proven leadership experience within a fiduciary or executive compensation environment
  • In-depth knowledge of fiduciary products and executive compensation services
  • Sound understanding of the Jersey regulatory landscape, including AML/CFT/CPF obligations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence others
  • Strategic mindset and proven ability to contribute to long-term business planning
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing team performance against business objectives
