Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their Isle of Man-based team on a permanent basis. This full-time role offers flexibility, with part-time hours also considered. The successful candidate will support a wide range of regulatory compliance matters, contributing to the compliance monitoring programme, maintaining risk registers, and supporting anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) measures.
Job Duties:
- Provide general support on regulatory compliance matters
- Assist in maintaining regulatory registers
- Support the development, delivery and reporting of the compliance monitoring programme
- Assist with regulatory and professional body correspondence, notifications and annual returns
- Provide advice and support for risk-based due diligence, new client onboarding and periodic reviews
- Review and analyse potential screening matches referred to the Compliance Team
- Monitor changes to international sanctions and assist with client screening checks
- Assist in administering the KYC360 system across the Group
- Ensure jurisdictional risk lists remain current
- Keep up to date with AML/CFT legislation and developments
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of compliance manuals, policies and documentation
- Contribute to the development and delivery of AML/CFT and other regulatory training
- Complete annual data protection renewals
- Collate information for external banking reviews
- Support the maintenance of the risk management framework
- Assist with regulatory change projects and initiatives
- Carry out other duties as required to support the business
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above
- Certificate or Diploma in Compliance is desirable (study support will be provided if not yet obtained)
- Previous experience working within the Financial Services Rule Book and AML/CFT Code preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of CCH, Laserfiche and ViewPoint advantageous but not essential
- Strong accountability, adaptability, collaboration and communication skills
- Demonstrates empathy, resilience, innovation, inclusivity and proactive communication
