Client Services Representative

Our client is seeking a Client Services Representative to join their operations team in Guernsey on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is designed to support clients and financial advisers with the servicing of their unit-linked plans, ensuring a professional, timely, and accurate customer experience.

Job Duties:

  • Support multi-jurisdictional clients regarding their plans held with the organisation
  • Communicate professionally with clients, intermediaries, and regional offices via telephone, email, or video call
  • Manage client queries and follow up on documentation and transaction requirements
  • Take ownership of client enquiries from initiation to resolution, escalating serious matters where appropriate
  • Adhere to anti-money laundering, due diligence, enhanced measures, and fraud control procedures
  • Prioritise workload and manage outstanding tasks using workflow systems
  • Maintain high customer service standards and keep clients informed throughout
  • Foster strong relationships across the wider operations teams and provide support when needed
  • Participate in operational and client service projects as assigned by the line manager
  • Engage fully with job-specific training and gain understanding of internal procedures and systems
  • Pursue wider operational training opportunities within processing and customer service functions
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of unit-linked products and participate in ongoing training
  • Attend both internal and external training events to support professional development
  • Work towards and be supported in obtaining relevant professional qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused role within the services sector
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Customer-focused with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels and regions
  • Proficiency in English and Maths
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Motivated and capable of working effectively as part of a team
