Our client is seeking a temporary Marketing & Communications Executive to provide support to the Business Development, Marketing, and Communications teams during a period of parental leave. This contract position involves a collaborative role aimed at enhancing the firm’s marketing efforts.
Job Duties:
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications with managing external communications and digital channels.
- Ensure the firm’s visual brand remains strong and is used consistently across the website, branded items, and digital platforms.
- Manage administration within the Marketing & Communications team, including arrangements for new starters, managing invoicing, and distribution of branded items across offices.
- Assist practice teams with event management.
- Manage key digital channels, including client mailers, the website, and social media accounts.
- Oversee compliance with the visual brand in all materials (including digital).
- Liaise with Knowledge Management and legal practice groups regarding the management, sign-off, and publication of written content.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team and legal practice groups on marketing and communications elements surrounding business development trips, conference attendance, speaking opportunities, and events, including:
- Event webpages
- Social media posts
- Event invitations
- Merchandise
- Work with the CRM system to accurately record, arrange, and access data about the network.
- Support the Head of Marketing & Communications on campaigns and projects to assist legal practice groups in fulfilling their business plan objectives.
- Assist practice groups in event management and staffing events.
Job Requirements:
- Good A-Levels and ideally educated to degree level.
- May hold or be working towards a relevant professional qualification.
- Awareness and understanding of social media platforms.
- Strong IT and organisational skills.
- Understanding of CRM systems is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Solution-driven attitude towards problems.
- Ability to work methodically and accurately.
- Commitment to adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations, including those around anti-money laundering and terrorist financing.
- Commitment to fulfilling personal CPD requirements and continuous development of skills and knowledge.
