Trust Administrator / Client Services

Our client is seeking a Trust Administrator to provide administrative support to the Client Services Team, which is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of trusts and companies. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Guernsey. The role entails assisting with the administration of complex trust and fiduciary structures, playing a key part in ensuring compliance with industry regulations while fostering strong relationships with clients and their advisors. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where they can contribute to the management of multi-jurisdictional trust and estate planning solutions for international clients, helping to protect assets and facilitate effective asset control across generations. The position allows for personal growth within the financial services sector and provides ample opportunities for professional development.

Job Duties:

  • As directed, process payments and handle cheque requests
  • Complete simple client letters, resolutions, and maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Develop personal contact with clients, advisors, and other related parties as part of the team
  • Assist with client research projects and management reporting

Job Requirements:

  • A Level school leaver preferred; however, candidates with a strong educational background may also be considered
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Financial Services, ideally related to Trust Services
  • Willingness to pursue professional qualifications (STEP certification)
  • Highly numerate and accurate
  • Resourceful and possesses a can-do attitude
  • Exhibits high attention to detail
  • Systematic approach to work, capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Thrives in a team environment while also able to work independently
  • Understands the necessity for discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely
  • Local right to work
