Clinical Housekeeping Team Leader

Ref: Jersey Hospice

If you would like to make a difference every day, come and join our Housekeeping Team at Jersey Hospice Care.

You will be responsible for leading a small team in providing cleaning and laundry services, primarily for the clinical areas of the organisation.  You will work on the 12 bed in patient unit and will meet patients and their families for whom we are providing palliative end of life care.  You will need to deliver very high standards of service, in adherence with policies and procedures and Infection, Prevention and Control measures.   In addition, you will be involved in the performance management, and training and development of the housekeeping team.

You will have experience of leading a team, have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise work, have a friendly disposition, excellent interpersonal skills and be a good team player.  Experience of working within a healthcare environment would be desirable, however training will be provided.

Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday, on a rolling roster basis, working 5 days in 7, with flexibility around shifts to meet the needs of the role and the organisation.
