Our client is seeking a diligent Officer in Credit Risk Management to support the Manager in overseeing credit risk management duties, including administrative tasks and credit risk account management. Job Duties:
- Monitor the credit portfolio, track conditions on approved applications, and use exception reporting to identify breaches, ensuring remedial actions are taken promptly.
- Provide Management Information to enable the business to effectively manage loan portfolios.
- Assess Credit Proposals to evaluate financial performance and inform decisions by Delegated Authority holders.
- Review facility documentation to ensure all conditions are accurately reflected in draft facility letters.
- Validate that conditions precedents are met before disbursements are made.
- Serve as Secretary to the business Credit Committee, maintaining accurate and complete records in accordance with the agreed mandate.
- Monitor and action the Credit Risk email inbox, ensuring timely and effective responses.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Risk Management or Business Commerce.
- 1-2 years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong understanding of banking products, services, systems, policies, and procedures.
- 3-4 years of experience in credit risk management, with an understanding of the bank’s products, facilities, and associated risks.
- In-depth knowledge of legislative requirements and registration processes related to credit risk management.
- Proficiency in Banking Processes & Procedures.
- Strong Business Administration skills.
- Knowledge of Compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with Product and Services in Consumer Banking.
- Competency in Product-Related Systems.
- Ability to identify and manage risks effectively.
