Our client is seeking an IT Senior Service Desk Administrator to provide IT support primarily in managing business-as-usual and change project activities. This role involves working within a multi-skilled team, supporting a variety of industry-standard IT hardware and software, and carrying out facilities tasks as required. It is a dynamic environment requiring adaptability and proactive decision-making to meet deadlines. Job Duties:
- Providing IT technical support for industry-standard hardware and software through their lifecycle
- Delivering IT and related assistance upon request via the Service Desk
- Mentoring and training junior or new team members
- Processing Identity and Access Management requests
- Supporting IT projects as required
- Performing routine inspections and upkeep of existing installations
- Following internal standards such as ITSM, ISO27001, GDPR, and Change Management
- Managing IT administration/documentation, including Asset Register and Application Processes
- Participating in the IT Operations on-call rota and occasional weekend work
- Carrying out facilities tasks as required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of technical experience supporting Microsoft OS and Applications, including MS Office, Enterprise Applications, SCCM, and endpoint security systems
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing IT support to business users
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective time management, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
- Delivery and quality-focused mindset
- Willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic team environment
- Exposure to Citrix, O365, Azure, Mitel, Active Directory, and Service Desk Ticketing Platforms
- Familiarity with IT processes and standards
- ITIL V4 Specialist certification desirable
