Fiduciary Manager, Family Office

Our client is seeking a Fiduciary Manager for their Family Office in Guernsey. This is a full-time position reporting to a Partner or Director within the Family Office team, with responsibility for the management and development of more junior team members. Job Duties: 

  • Build and maintain relationships with Senior Client Relationship Managers (CRMs), including communication with clients and their advisers.
  • Administer a portfolio of trusts, companies, and foundations, including formation and termination across various jurisdictions.
  • Draft and check documents such as resolutions, loan agreements, and property transaction documents.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members, offering technical assistance and reviewing documentation as needed.
  • Manage risk in administering structures, ensuring adherence to internal procedures.
  • Organise and prioritise daily operations to align with business plans and enhance procedures.
  • Manage a team of trust administrators, conducting appraisals, and career development plans.
  • Recruit and monitor performance of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Group standards and legal requirements.
  • Oversee transfers of entities between administrators and manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., STEP, ICSA, ACCA, IoD).
  • Proven experience managing teams, ideally over a 10-year period.
  • Strong technical understanding and application of trust and fiduciary services.
  • Excellent risk and compliance knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong commercial awareness with sound understanding of financial markets and accounting.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and lead a team.
