Our client is seeking a Trainee Examiner to join their friendly team. This is a permanent, full-time role, providing support to the examination teams in managing and delivering the examination programme to the agreed standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up examination cases and ensuring tasks are executed promptly within the operational systems. Job Duties
- Support the team in planning and conducting examinations in line with the agreed methodology and within deadlines.
- Ensure all examination processes are clearly mapped, documented, and maintained.
- Adopt a risk-based approach to prioritise key areas of the examination programme.
- Assist in maintaining communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the examination process.
- Contribute to the improvement and ongoing development of examination methodologies and processes, with a focus on data utilisation.
- Share knowledge and experiences with colleagues to ensure continuous improvement of operational systems and controls.
Job Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team and take initiative to improve ways of working.
- Interest in learning about financial regulation and the role of financial crime supervision.
- Understanding of the importance of data and its role in enhancing output is advantageous.
- Experience in the financial services industry or with a public authority is not required, but knowledge of regulatory functions is desirable.
- Motivation for continuous learning and development, with a flexible approach and positive attitude towards challenges.
