Our client is seeking a Consumer Credit Supervisor to join their Relationship Managed Supervision team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of entities involved in consumer credit activity. Job Duties:
- Deliver effective supervision of entities in line with a risk-based approach, focusing on risk mitigation and regulatory requirements.
- Implement a risk model for identifying escalating levels of risk, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
- Complete activities in accordance with agreed processes, service level agreements, and key performance indicators for quality and efficiency.
- Maintain high-quality data entry and record-keeping systems that comply with legal standards and enhance insights into trends.
- Build a strong network of internal stakeholders across Supervision and the wider organisation to execute regulatory responsibilities effectively.
- Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvements to internal practices and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with knowledge of relevant financial services and products, particularly in lending and credit.
- Understanding of Jersey and international regulatory standards is desirable.
- Motivation for continuous learning and development with a flexible approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
