Temporary Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper on a temporary basis who will be responsible for handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a specific client, including managing investment portfolios, loans, bank account reconciliations, and portfolio reconciliations. Job Duties:

  • Bookkeeping of bank and security transactions and reconciliation for all entities administered by the client.
  • Calculating loan interest.
  • Liaising with members of the administrative team.
  • Liaising with external providers of accounting data.
  • Completing ad-hoc projects and addressing information requests as they arise.
  • Accurately recording time in 5 Series.
  • Providing cover for sickness and absence within the team.
  • Undertaking new tasks as capacity allows.
  • Completing any other tasks as required by management.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of trust bookkeeping experience.
  • Previous experience using 5 Series (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
