Job Duties:
- Process entries in the accounting system to maintain accurate records for a variety of clients.
- Establish and manage accounting records for new clients and close ledgers for ceased clients.
- Prepare management accounts, including cash flow forecasts, income and expenditure forecasts, asset statements, budgets, and other reports as required.
- Produce accurate financial statements for trust and company clients for audit or submission.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and review within a trust or relevant financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and financial statement consolidation.
- Understanding of the segregation of income and capital in trust accounting.
- Familiarity with Jersey trust and company law and practice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
