Our client, a global leader in the superyacht industry, is seeking a proactive and skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in Guernsey. Job Duties:
- Prepare and issue invoices in collaboration with the HR and Payroll team.
- Update yacht accounts receivable ledgers accurately and timely.
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual management accounts.
- Prepare and post accruals and prepayments.
- Process receipts following compliance procedures.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Regularly interact with HR and Payroll teams for accounting matters.
- Liaise directly with senior colleagues and international teams.
- Contribute to the budgeting process.
- Support HR and Payroll with accounting requirements.
- Apply best practices in accounting processes and controls.
- Generate ad hoc reports as required.
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience within a finance function.
- AAT, ACA, CIMA (or equivalent) part-qualified candidates are desirable.
- Experience with taking accounts up to trial balance and posting prepayments and accruals.
- Proficiency with Sage X3 is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise across all levels of the business.
