Lawyer

Our client is seeking a qualified lawyer to join their Legal Advisory team in the Isle of Man. The role primarily involves delivering international private client and corporate commercial services. You will work closely with local Partners, as well as associates across the business, and collaborate with the Fiduciary team in the Isle of Man office. The successful candidate will also interact with the Client Relationship Management Team, Portfolio Managers, Tax Advisers, Trustee companies, external clients, and business contacts. Job Duties:

• Implement international corporate transactions and restructurings for private and corporate clients
• Structure and implement offshore structures
• Provide tax, trust, and estate planning for High Net Worth families
• Offer legal assistance for private wealth and multi-family office services
• Provide legal advice and support to the family office fiduciary teams
• Manage risks by implementing and maintaining relevant controls

Job Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with at least 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in private client, corporate commercial, or personal/corporate tax.
• Strong understanding of legal concepts with the ability to draft documents; enthusiasm for the role is key
• Commitment to a legal career in one or more of our practice areas, and willingness to reside in the Isle of Man
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan a challenging workload
• Excellent client relationship skills with an international outlook
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
