Advocate/Solicitor

Our client is seeking an experienced Advocate, Solicitor, or Conveyancer to join their dynamic legal team. This full-time, permanent role focuses on conveyancing and provides the opportunity to work within a firm that values a personalised approach to legal services. You will be responsible for managing client files, offering expert legal advice, and ensuring a smooth conveyancing process. Job Duties:

  • Manage a variety of conveyancing cases, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide expert legal advice on property transactions to clients, including sales, purchases, and transfers.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and agreements related to conveyancing.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to facilitate the smooth progression of cases.
  • Conduct property searches, due diligence, and verification of legal documentation.
  • Handle complex conveyancing matters and resolve issues proactively to safeguard clients' interests.
  • Maintain accurate records and keep clients informed of case progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, offering support and sharing knowledge to enhance the team's overall service delivery.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Advocate or Solicitor with experience in conveyancing, or a qualified Conveyancer with extensive experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely case management.
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively to find solutions for clients.
  • Proven track record of handling a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Experience using legal case management software is desirable but not essential.
