Our client is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their Group Internal Audit team in a permanent role. Job Duties:
- Deliver assignments on target and in accordance with professional auditing standards.
- Make recommendations to improve control, efficiency, and the effectiveness of systems.
- Conduct comprehensive research on business areas and maintain an understanding of wider industry and external market developments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of processes, controls, risk management, and governance systems.
- Follow up on recommendations to ensure the effectiveness of management actions.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across the business.
Job Requirements:
- Ideally 3 years of experience in internal or external audit.
- Experience and knowledge of a broad range of business and commercial activities, including financial services.
- A relevant professional qualification in accountancy or auditing.
- A curious and enquiring mind, with the ability to apply professional scepticism.
- Strong time management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and the ability to engage with staff and managers at all levels.
- The ability to analyse and evaluate complex situations and data.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
