Our client is seeking a Project Management Office Analyst to support their change team in delivering effective governance and control across projects and programmes. The role focuses on ensuring consistency and alignment with the project management framework by providing structured support services. The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a Project Management Office, project coordinator, or project analyst role, with a strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and methodologies.
Job Duties:
- Assist Programme and Project Managers in preparing project initiation documentation, ensuring adherence to project framework standards.
- Set up projects on project management tools, identify delivery risks and dependencies, and establish project governance meetings and reporting cycles.
- Manage and monitor the Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies (RAID) and lessons learned logs through regular engagement with project and programme teams.
- Support the change team in enhancing PMO maturity and capability while delivering departmental objectives.
- Collect, analyse, and collate data to produce dashboards, metrics, budget tracking reports, and steering reports for key decision-making bodies.
- Identify areas requiring monitoring, engage with project and programme managers, and prepare clear and concise reports.
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of PMO services, including systems, processes, tools, and templates.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a PMO or project analyst role, with knowledge of industry best practices and methodologies.
- Working towards or holding a relevant qualification, such as ISEB Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, or P3O Foundation.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to review, analyse, and manipulate data for clear reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create and manage medium-complexity spreadsheet solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
