Senior Treasury Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join their treasury team. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to an individual with experience in treasury operations, financial forecasting, and risk management. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing liquidity, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and present regular treasury reports to key internal stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial data and prepare forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Assist in cash management activities and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients to discuss the organisation’s products and services.
  • Identify and lead commercial opportunities within the treasury function.
  • Support the finance team with projects and process improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and prudential regulations.
  • Assist in risk management by identifying, monitoring, and reporting risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments of counterparties and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training within the treasury team.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a treasury role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI being advantageous.
  • Understanding of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Markets.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest and implement improvements.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and issues clearly and concisely.
