Junior Advocate

Our client, a well-established medium-sized firm, is seeking a Junior Advocate with 0-5 years PQE to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to develop advocacy skills within a supportive and professional environment while working on a broad range of cases. Job Duties:

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and tribunals.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, pleadings, and opinions.
  • Advise clients on legal matters, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communications.
  • Assist senior advocates in case preparation and strategy development.
  • Manage case files efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to progress matters effectively.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Advocate with 0-5 years PQE.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to present cases effectively.
  • Excellent research and analytical abilities to interpret complex legal issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach.
