Marketing & Communications Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the organisation’s internal and external communications strategy. This full-time role offers the opportunity to shape messaging, drive engagement, and manage reputation across various channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering strategic and effective communication initiatives that align with the organisation’s goals, while ensuring consistency in brand voice and message across all platforms.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement integrated internal and external communication strategies
  • Manage relationships with the media and PR agency to generate positive coverage and handle press enquiries
  • Create and manage content for websites, social media, press releases, and marketing materials
  • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance to organisational changes
  • Oversee and execute a social media strategy, including monitoring and audience engagement
  • Develop and manage internal communication strategies to inform and engage employees
  • Produce content for internal newsletters, intranet, and leadership messaging
  • Support change management initiatives with tailored internal communications
  • Deliver high-quality, consistent messaging for diverse audiences across all channels
  • Implement and manage crisis communication plans with support from the PR agency
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent and adheres to established brand guidelines
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of communication activities
  • Manage the communications budget efficiently and effectively
  • Support health and safety initiatives by complying with internal procedures and promoting a safe working environment

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a communications management role, with expertise in both internal and external communications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • In-depth understanding of media relations, social media management, web content, and internal communication practices
  • Ability to develop and deliver strategic communication initiatives
  • Experience in managing crisis communication situations
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with communication and social media analytics tools
  • Adaptable, resilient, and highly organised
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player
