Graduate Trainee

Our client is seeking a dynamic Graduate Trainee to join their team based in Douglas, IOM, with opportunities to expand internationally as the role grows. This full-time position offers a unique chance to support the leadership in strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations, delivering outstanding customer service solutions. As a Graduate Trainee, you will not only assist in various projects but also gain invaluable experience in Organisational Development while transitioning from a graduate to a credible asset within the organisation.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with the management of time-limited projects and initiatives.
  • Undertake research to understand the business, its products, and objectives.
  • Commit to continuous personal development over a minimum of two years.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance knowledge regarding business operations and client services.
  • Develop communication and presentation skills for potential future consulting roles.
  • Operate across various time zones to meet client needs.
  • Comply with all HR policies, data protection, confidentiality, and governance requirements.
  • Deliver actions from Project Plans, keeping clients updated on progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the Strategy and Commercial Manager and provide support to the team as needed.
  • Assist in accreditation planning with the Events Coordinator and HS Associates.
  • Monitor and manage leads from the infoline, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.
  • Support the Managing Director with scheduling calls/webinars, preparing client information, and materials.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks within specified timelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and engaging personality.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a willingness to adapt and be flexible.
  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently.
  • Understanding and compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • High standard of service and output delivery, acting with integrity.
